Cartier scarves have long been desired for their luxury and unique design, and this scarf is testimony to that very special history and dedication. Cartier displays in this scarf the world famous bejeweled "Flamingo" brooch created for the Duchess of Windsor's birthday in 1940! And, we have shown in this listing an image from our archival books sharing this very special story.
100% Silk. Made in Italy. The large Cartier size (36" X 36") of medium weight silk with a beautiful brocade weave. Warm taupe background and mink brown trim. Hand rolled and stitched hem. Scarf is large enough to wear as a head scarf or shoulder scarf, and folds beautifully into the neckline of a blazer or coat.
Very fine vintage, pristine condition with Cartier tag and red box. Marked "Cartier Paris". Circa 1990's. Genuine Cartier.

Gorgeous Cartier scarf with the classic flamingos made famous by the Duchess of Windsor’s Cartier brooch. More beautiful than even the excellent photos. Quick shipping and arrival in the USA; fairly priced. The wrapping is a gift in and of itself with the iconic red Cartier box as well as the wrapping paper and ribbon. Ginger is very gracious as well as diligent, and kept me up to date with the shipping. A wonderful, unique shop - many thanks!
