Two (pair of) my own brand armorer's chain nose pliers, these are heavy duty pliers with a chain nose you can use for regular sized jump rings. These are made by an experienced tool maker to my specifications. I do round all the sharp edges with a needle file.

The short noses make for good leverage without leaving teeth marks. You can use them for 17swg (1.4mm) stainless steel jump rings and up. They should be able to handle up to at least 13swg (2.3mm).

For reference my hands are 3 1/4"-3 1/2" (8.5-9cm) wide and I would use the 130x5mm pliers. If you're hands are wider than 4" (10cm) the 150x5mm pliers will be better suited.
