This antique, attractive fan is made of wood and finished in black lacquer. Exquisite designs and gold engraving are made by hand. Beautiful figured shields are decorated with a pattern made with gold paint, like the frame of the fan. The screen has a pastoral theme in the style of the drawings of Jean Antoine Watteau, and is made in bright colors.

It is in good vintage condition for its age, with no defects, but there is some wear around the edges of the screen and the varnish has faded with age. I think this can be easily resolved by someone who knows how to deal with fans.
