Let us take you on an exciting literary adventure that adds an element of mystery & surprise to your love of reading... Instead of judging a book by its cover, shop our collection of beautifully wrapped secret books letting you choose by only its genre and a handful of clues!

Our secret books are a great way to find your new favourite novel but they also make fantastic pre-wrapped gifts for friends & family that love to read, taking the pressure off of having to decide on the ‘right’ book!

In-keeping with the cosy Icelandic tradition of Jólabókaflóðið in which loved ones exchange books, eat chocolate and then read together (at Christmas, but we believe this should be celebrated all-year-round!), we also include a sweet treat and a choice of hot drink.

- What's Included? -
Included with your brand new mystery book is a hot drink & sweet treat for you to enjoy whilst curled up with your new novel, as well as one of our handcrafted bookmarks, a reading log and stickers. You'll Receive:

- The Books -
We offer both completely brand new and A-grade 'gently preloved' paperback book options. Our gently used books are carefully selected by us and we only pick books which have perfect spines (no creases!). Many of our 'gently preloved' books are actually brand new but may have a slight imperfection or are preowned but have just never been read.

We only send books that are either single reads, the first in a series or a stand-alone story part of a larger series that can be read in any order.

Our stock is constantly changing but we make sure to always have a wide selection of genres at all times. Whilst we try to find reads that are a little less obvious, our books do still include bestsellers and popular authors.

- Delivery & Packaging -
We process all orders within 1-3 business days and ship from the UK via the Royal Mail.

We hate nothing more than receiving a damaged book in the post so we ensure that your books are packaged securely. Our books are protected in cardboard book jackets, wrapped tightly in protective bubble wrap and then packaged in an A4 envelope (or box for multiple books) ready for delivery.
