A baby registry is an easy-to-shop list of gifts and essentials that parents would like to receive. Once you create a registry, you’ll see curated recommendations on your Manage page to help you get started. Most parents register for baby care and nursery items, baby clothes, and feeding and diapering essentials. As you search on Etsy, you’ll discover all kinds of extraordinary baby gifts to put on your registry—at different price points, made by independent sellers. Follow these easy steps to create your Etsy Registry:

1. Sign in to Etsy.com.
2. Click on your account in the upper right hand corner, then select Etsy Registry in the dropdown.
3. Select 'Get started' under Baby Registry.
4. Provide a few details like your event date (You can update this later, too).

Once you create a baby registry, it's quick and easy to add gifts. As you shop on Etsy, simply click the icon that looks like a gift or select the 'Add to registry' button right below the 'Add to cart' button on a listing page. (Note: This button will only appear if you've already created an Etsy Registry.)

For personalized baby gifts, you can note specific customization or personalization details before adding the item to your registry. You can also add these customizations directly from your registry page.

Once you've added your gifts and customizations, you can publish your registry and easily share it with friends, family, and baby shower guests. You can add new items or edit your registry info at any time.

Bonus: When it's time to write your thank-you notes, simply select 'View purchaser list' on the top of your registry page to see which items your guests purchased and where they were shipped.

You can add up to 100 items to your baby registry. As you begin adding gifts to your registry, we recommend starting with the curated recommendations that you'll find on your personal Manage page. If you start to run low on items that have not yet been purchased, you can add more at any time so your guests have plenty of unique gifts to choose from.

You can begin registering for baby gifts as soon as you're ready. Many parents begin registering for gifts around the three-month mark, and you can always begin a registry at any time and add more items in the future. Once you choose a baby name, be sure to add some personalized baby accessories like blankets, bibs, onesies, and month-by-month photo props. It's a good idea to register for gifts ahead of any special events, like a gender reveal or baby shower, so guests know what you're hoping to receive.

Once you're ready to share your baby registry, select 'Publish' at the top of the Registry page. You'll be asked to confirm your event details. Then you'll have the option to allow anyone to view your registry or limit views to those with a personal link you provide them. Note: Your baby registry must have at least one item on it before you can share it, and you can add more items at any time. To get a link to your registry, select 'Share' at the top of the page, copy the link, and pass it on.
