When you create a registry on Etsy, you can fill your list with all kinds of extraordinary and personalized home, style, and gift items, all handpicked by you so you're sure to adore them. Follow these easy steps to create your Etsy Registry:

1. Sign in to Etsy.com.
2. Click on your account in the upper right hand corner, then select Etsy Registry in the dropdown.
3. Select 'Get started' under Gift Registry.
4. Provide a few details like your event date (You can update this later, too).

Now it’s time to begin adding items to your empty registry page. Once you’ve added your gifts and customizations, you can easily publish and share your registry with your guests. (Quick note: Even after you publish, you can still add new items or edit your registry information at any time.)

When you find a gift you’d like to add to your registry, just click the icon that looks like a gift or select the 'Add to registry' button just below the 'Add to cart' button (which will only appear if you've already started an Etsy Registry). If applicable, you can add specific customization or personalization details before adding the item to your registry, and these customizations will be pulled through to your registry. You can also add these customizations directly from your registry page.

Lastly, when it's time to write your thank-you notes, select 'View purchaser list' on the top of your registry page to see which items your guests purchased and where they were shipped.

You can add up to 100 items to your registry. Getting started finding the perfect gifts for your celebration has never been easier! You'll find curated recommendations on your Manage page immediately after creating your registry. If you start to run low on items that have not yet been purchased, you can add more at any time so your guests have plenty of unique gifts to choose from!

As soon as you have an event date in mind, you can begin registering for gifts. You can also update your event date if plans change. You can wait to share your registry until closer to your event date, but it's usually a good idea to have your registry ready to go before you send out invitations. That way, guests can check your gift registry as soon as they receive an invitation.

Once you're ready to share your gift registry, select 'Publish' at the top of the registry page. You’ll be asked to confirm some event details, and then you'll have the option to allow anyone to view your registry or keep your registry more private (so only those who have your link can view your registry). It's up to you! Once you publish your registry and add at least one item, select 'Share' at the top of the page to get a link to your registry that you can easily share with your guests so they can start shopping for gifts.
