Cartier began engraving cards as far back as 1918, and archival pieces from the 1920's show copperplate etchings of coach and hunt scenes as well as many hand painted art deco and cityscapes. Cartier is well known for their heavy weight paper stock and admired for the design quality and simple elegance that is the height of distinguished correspondence.

These are embossed linen Cartier note cards of luxury heavy weight ecru stock. Platinum wash "Love Birds" bejeweled motif with sapphire blue & emerald green accents, and the bottom of each note is imprinted with "Cartier". A unique gift with a distinct taste of luxury!
