This is the Platinum decor "Tortue" Turtle motif on luxury heavy weight white stock. The Turtle is always a symbol of Good Luck! Circa late 1990's. Made for Cartier International collection. 9 notes and matching envelopes with box.
Cartier began engraving cards as far back as 1918, and archival pieces from the 1920's show copperplate etchings of coach and hunt scenes as well as many hand painted art deco and cityscapes. Cartier is well known for their heavy weight paper stock and admired for the design quality and simple elegance that is the height of distinguished correspondence.

This is the worse I have bought from Etsy. I have no word to describe what this case looked like after just one week of use. So upset I threw it in trash where it belongs
