This illustrated map of the vineyards of France was created using watercolor and micron pen before being reproduced on bamboo fiber art paper, using a pigment inkjet printer.
With this map of French wines, vineyards, appellations and grape varieties will no longer hold any secrets for you! Okay, the exercise is rather easy when it comes to locating a good old Côtes-du-Rhône on the map. No need to leave Saint-Cyr to make the connection with the valley of the same name. But if I say "Mentou-Salon", "Morgon" or "Pic-saint-Loup", will you be able to determine which vineyard they belong to? And if I tell you about "Petit Verdot"? This may be the remedy you need if you are looking for the answer among the bottles in your cellar, but it is also a red grape variety from Bordeaux ;) In short, this is the kind of information that you will discover on my map of French wines. A colorful journey that will take you from the Rhône Valley to the Loire Valley, via Burgundy, Languedoc and Bordeaux. You will taste great wines like Saint-Joseph, Côte-de-Nuits and Pouilly-Fumé... but you will also discover little gems!
