TINY HOOP SIZING

⁓ SIZING | GAUGE SIZE (g)
• Gauge size refers to the wire thickness | 20 gauge is about the thickness of an average earring post | 22 gauge is thinner and more delicate | 18 gauge is slightly thicker
• The higher the gauge number, the thinner the wire
• Thicker wire in the smaller hoops is a bit more difficult to open and close

⁓ SIZING | DIAMETER SIZE (mm)
• We measure our hoops by inside diameter (measured from inside edge straight across to opposite inside edge - not including the sides of the hoop in the measurement)
• Since everyone’s shape, size and piercing distance from the edge can be so uniquely different, there’s really no one-size-fits-all. Some like a hoop to fit snug and others prefer a looser fitting hoop

A practical balance between cost and quality, our gold-filled jewelry has a thick layer of 14k gold, heat and pressure bonded to a center core of high-quality jeweler's brass. Our pieces have the same appearance as high carat solid gold and contain much more real gold than regular gold plating.

⁓ 14k ROSE GOLD FILLED

HOW TO INSERT A TINY HOOP?

STEP 1
Clean | clean your hands, hoop and piercing before starting.
🌴 It’s always wise to avoid leaning over a sink, but if this is your best light and mirror, lay down a towel to avoid a hoop falling down a drain.

STEP 2
Twist open | gently ‘twist’ the hoop open (never pull the ends apart - this will stretch and distort the shape of the hoop, and weaken the metal)

STEP 3
Insert | insert one end into the piercing (sometimes it can be easier inserting from the back side of the piercing)

STEP 4
Twist closed | once inserted in your piercing, be sure to gently twist the hoop so the ends meet and line up perfectly for a comfortable fit
🌴 You may need to gently push and pull the ends past each other to get the ends lined up perfectly. Once closed, the hoop should turn easily within the piercing with no discomfort.
🌴 Sometimes it’s tricky inserting a small hoop! A friend (extra pair of hands) can often be helpful.
