The stunningly beautiful "La Maison de l'Art Deco" porcelain decor made for Cartier by Limoges, France! Very rare, this is an Egyptian revival motif reminding us of Cartier's early Art Deco clocks & jewelry during the 1920's. With iconic panthers hand painted in fine 24kt gold, Cartier describes this vase as "A gift to complement the home, decorated in black and gold, the design sets regal panthers on an ivory background. Made of fine French porcelain. " Cartier porcelain designs have always been very collectible!

This listing is for a vase, measuring approx. 8 inches (18cm) high by 3.5 inches (9cm) wide. Very nice vintage condition, but some "crazing" in the glaze (as shown by our arrow in image #6), this listing price is 30% less than normal for this model to compensate for imperfection in glaze. No chips on rim or bottom. Other than described in the glaze, which can be normal with age, it is perfect and a beautiful decor piece! Cartier red box included.
