Are all the illustrations done with colored pencils? Yes !
Why this technique?
It is an artistic practice that everyone approaches from childhood, but as a professional, it allows you to obtain a qualitative approach worthy of a pictorial work. Quality colored pencils (Faber Castell, Caran d'Ache) like those I use for my drawings allow me to work on details and play with nuances. The textures and tones obtained reveal both softness and subtlety, liveliness and power.
I draw inspired by photos, models that allow me to obtain accuracy and finesse in the lines. In drawing, I offer you a new format, invigorating colors, texture, grain, sharpness, emotion, authenticity, poetry, even magic! Because elements can appear or disappear thanks to the drawing.
My cards are printed in England, I particularly appreciate the thickness and matte finish of the postcards, and the fact of being able to print small runs, of 25 to 50 copies. The edition is limited to vary the models and ensure a certain authenticity.
