The owners of this shop are fabulous. Unfortunately, my stool was damaged in transit (a first for me) but they were very helpful and proactive in investigating what had happened and liaising with the insurers. I decided to keep the stool and accept a partial refund (the shop offered to pay for its return plus give a full refund) as it is still quite beautiful and I can imagine what it was whole. I'm less enthusiastic about how long it's taking Etsy to pay the partial refund (up to 30 days for "overseas" credit cards is bonkers in the electronic era!) and there's no human representative to communicate with. I trust it will happen....
