The cards you receive will be an exact reproduction of one of my handwritten decks.
Being a long time Tarot & Cartomancy reader, I've well researched my meanings from different sources over many years.
Background : I wanted to create the kind of learner deck that would have helped me when I first started out in Cartomancy. Something that accelerated learning, & at the same time saves precious time and effort.
All my decks are printed using high quality inks & sturdy 300gsm linen front cardstock.
Each deck is given a light coat of protective varnish., & a dusting of fanning powder to ease shuffling.
The colours are fresh and vibrant.
Being handmade the deck is a little thicker than regular playing cards, but still shuffle very well. Cards have a more traditional 'paper' feel than modern plastic coated playing cards.
Also be aware that being handmade means the cards don't have a commercial 'clean' machined edge. Please consider this before committing to purchase!
Each deck will be sent with a tips guide, the full Cartomancy Method booklet & a drawstring hessian bag.
Cards are finished using fanning powder , some residue may remain but will wear in with shuffling & use.

It arrived packaged nicely and FAST from the UK. However they are extremely textured and REALLY rough around the edges. Not sharp but like deliberately made to have very worn/used edges. The surfaces are so matte it’s almost impossible to shuffle at all. I truly mean that. If you’re able to do it, they really are amazing unique cards worth owning. Just be warned they aren’t the easiest to work with. But loved anyway bc of they are one of a kind :)

Hey thanks for your review 😊 I will take note & add more fanning powder to ease shuffling! btw if you need some it's available on Amazon. Unfortunately I can't change the edges as these are hand made, I try to use the max thickness of card I can print with & make a sturdy deck with 300gsm. I guess this is the payoff that the edges aren't ultra smooth like commercial decks. if I use thinner card to get a smoother edge then deck will just be too thin. Anyhow I'm taking note & will now look into alternative equipment for cutting. Sharon x
