Are all the illustrations done with colored pencils? Yes!
Why this technique?
It's an artistic practice that everyone approaches from childhood, but as a professional, it allows for a qualitative approach worthy of a pictorial work. Quality colored pencils (Faber Castell, Caran d'Ache) like those I use for my drawings allow me to work on details and play with nuances. The textures and tones obtained reveal both softness and subtlety, vivacity and power.
I draw inspired by photos and models that allow me to achieve accuracy and finesse in my lines. In drawing, I offer you a new format, invigorating colors, texture, grain, sharpness, emotion, authenticity, poetry, even magic! Because elements can appear or disappear thanks to drawing.
My cards are printed in England. I particularly appreciate the thickness and matte finish of the postcards, and the fact that I can print small print runs of 25 to 50 copies. The print run is limited to vary the designs and ensure a certain authenticity.
