The "Easter Hen" linocut postcards were printed by me with Schmincke linocut ink on colored paper with notched edges purchased second hand.
Each postcard is sold with its envelope.
They are signed on the front, bottom right.

A lovely way to wish a happy Easter!


TO KNOW :

- The cards are sold individually: you can choose your option based on the color of the paper (pink, white, blue, green and yellow).

- All my prints are handmade, which is why each print is a little different and therefore unique.

- To avoid any overpackaging and overconsumption, the cards are wrapped with a little tissue paper and slipped into a cardboard or bubble envelope to which I give a second life. The shipment is accompanied by a tracking number, a small linocut business card and a few sweet words.



LINOGRAVING PROCESS:

- Drawing: This is the first step of creation. It can be done directly on linoleum, or on paper. It is then transferred to the linoleum.

- Engraving: We then move on to engraving using a gouge whose curved shape and blade allow the linoleum to be easily hollowed out.

- Inking: Next comes inking using an inking roller which allows you to deposit a thin layer of ink.

- Printing: We finish with printing by placing a sheet of paper on the linoleum plate and to which we apply strong pressure using a press or a baren or a spoon.
