This beginner needle felting project produces four very sweet ornaments. The perfect addition to your DIY holiday decor. This is an excellent first project if you're new to needle felting. The neat thing about this kit is that the wool balls are already formed, so you can jump to the decorating part without having to make the balls from scratch although they will still need to be firmed and smoothed.

Perfect for gifting to your fiber-loving friend or family member, or treat yourself! Needle felting is a fun and stress-relieving (even meditative) art form. It’s a lovely group activity to do with a few of your favorite people but it’s also an ideal solo craft for times when you’re hunkered down at home.

Felting time: about 45 min. per ornament depending on individual felting speed.

Kit is beautifully packaged and includes:

Beginner's Guide to Needle Felting (a bit of general information)
Instruction Sheet with pictures of every step
Link to video instructions (highly recommended!)
Two color-coded felting needles in a handy paper tube
4 balls that are partially felted
Felting wool
String
Sewing needle (doll size)
4 felted wool "ornament caps"

You will also need:
A scissors to cut the string.
