Map of the pink city, Toulouse, to display directly as a poster or to frame.

This map was entirely designed by myself, an independent cartographer who is just starting out in sales. Each cartographic detail required long hours of work, testing and adjustments to offer a unique representation of the territory.
The time spent on this map (from QGIS to final presentation) is approximately 30 hours.

🖨 Printed on 170gsm satin paper with high quality laser printing, with vibrant colors and impeccable sharpness.

🍃 Local printing: printing is carried out in a Toulouse printing house, in support of local businesses.

📦 Careful shipping: the poster will be wrapped in tissue paper and sent in a reinforced, rigid cardboard envelope (A3 format), ensuring optimal protection until it reaches your home.

🌍 about this card...
It highlights the main districts of the city of Toulouse, crossed by the Garonne which flows from north to south, and bordered by the famous Canal du Midi. It also illustrates the city's plant life, with its many parks and green spaces that dot the urban landscape. The chosen colours deliberately play on strong contrasts: the copper red recalls Toulouse brick, while the deep blue of the Garonne and the canal highlights the river axes that cross Toulouse. The vegetation is distinguished by bright green tones, which contrast with the dark background of the map, accentuating the importance of natural spaces within the city. This map, produced at a scale of 1:15000, allows us to appreciate the urban structure and the interaction between buildings, major roads and green spaces. The data used comes from the IGN's BD TOPO database.
