Highlights
These Calatrava Cross cufflinks are made from solid tarnish-resistant silver.
The Order of Calatrava was one of the four Spanish military orders and the first military order founded in Castile, but the second to receive papal approval.
As it happens, the symbol of their order makes a very attractive cufflink.
The silver I'm using is a new alloy that is non-reactive. This means, in effect, that it won't tarnish. This is A Good Thing for those who don't want to be constantly repolishing their accessories.
I made 20 of these for a wholesale client who then vanished without a trace so I'm selling them off very cheap. You'll find similar ones on the web for £175. These are going for £85.
They measure 21mm across and weigh 12 grams.
The back fittings on these cufflinks are standard Sterling Silver as no one makes them in the new alloy yet. I also make these in gold as pictured on this listing and for those I use a whale-tail back. If you'd like that design then I can make you a pair in the tarnish-reisiant silver but it will cost you a little more. Please message me for details.
