Cartier scarves and stoles have long been desired for their luxury and unique design. Many have been inspired by famous jewelry creations commissioned by historical celebrity clients such as the Duchess of Windsor or India's Maharajah of Patiala. This scarf displays the Tanjore & Djigar necklaces, Rajastan bracelet, and Gupta brooch, all created by Cartier for early 20th century Indian princes.
Made in France and created in the French Lyon tradition. 100% Silk. The large size (36" X 36") of heavy weight French silk twill in striking tones of dark navy, gold, red, and blue. Hand rolled and stitched hem. Scarf is large enough to wear as a head scarf or shoulder scarf, and luxurious folded into a neckline.
Silk is in excellent vintage condition, crisp and like new, wrapped in cello. Without tag or box. Cartier authenticity guaranteed.

Gorgeous Cartier scarf with the classic flamingos made famous by the Duchess of Windsor’s Cartier brooch. More beautiful than even the excellent photos. Quick shipping and arrival in the USA; fairly priced. The wrapping is a gift in and of itself with the iconic red Cartier box as well as the wrapping paper and ribbon. Ginger is very gracious as well as diligent, and kept me up to date with the shipping. A wonderful, unique shop - many thanks!
