Cartier scarves have long been desired for their quality and unique design. This unique scarf commemorates the 200 year anniversary of the "Institut de France", well known in French culture as the ‘Protector of Arts, Literature and Science’. Within this scarf you will see the academician sword handle made by Cartier for Jean Cocteau in 1955.
100% Silk. Made in Italy. The large Cartier size (36" X 36") of heavy weight silk twill, with hand rolled and stitched hem. Orange to bronze with majestic black border as background for green laurel. Silk is in good condition, heavy & crisp. Scarf is without tag, but clearly marked "must de Cartier Paris" within the motif. Includes original Cartier red box. Cartier authenticity guaranteed.

Gorgeous Cartier scarf with the classic flamingos made famous by the Duchess of Windsor’s Cartier brooch. More beautiful than even the excellent photos. Quick shipping and arrival in the USA; fairly priced. The wrapping is a gift in and of itself with the iconic red Cartier box as well as the wrapping paper and ribbon. Ginger is very gracious as well as diligent, and kept me up to date with the shipping. A wonderful, unique shop - many thanks!
