This is a >downloadable guide< for viewers of my YouTube Channel (youtu.be/philvandelay) and anyone else who would like to build my Belt Grinder Design "PVB-1" for personal use. It contains plans, measurements, 3D models and information to help you build the Belt Grinder that I built in my YouTube Video. If you found this listing on Etsy, check out the build video here first to see the building process and features: https://youtu.be/gaIVzdJ2V5w
This offer does not include any physical items, nothing will be shipped to you.
<<AFTER PURCHASE YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE FILES DIRECTLY HERE ON ETSY>>
You will get a 27-Page PDF File that contains detailed technical drawings of every part with all measurements required to build this machine. There is a parts list included so you know what parts you need, plus some tips, notes and general build info. ALL MEASUREMENTS ARE IN MILIMETRES/METRIC! The belt size for this machine is 75x2000mm.
With the download you will also get a 3D CAD Model of the project that you can use for measurements or modify to help with the build, or to use it for CNC applications. These files are _optional_ and just provide additional reference. All the necessary information for building is already in the PDF file! You will need CAD software to open these files. If you don't know what that is, please google it.
There is a universal .step file that should work with most 3D CAD applications as well as an .f3d file for Autodesk Fusion 360 (this one also includes working joints for the mechanical parts). These both contain the same model. If you need any other formats, contact me, and I will check if I can export them.
Note that this guide does not contain step-by-step instructions, it is supposed to be used in conjunction with the video which shows you the overall building process and explains the "hands-on" side of the build, while this guide mostly covers the measurements. You should watch the video first if you haven't yet, so you know what to expect! This is a complex metalworking/machining project that requires advanced knowledge in machining and metal fabrication to complete.
