All the illustrations are made with colored pencils? Yes!
Why this technique?
It is an artistic practice that everyone approaches from childhood, but as a professional, it allows to obtain a qualitative approach worthy of a pictorial work. Quality colored pencils (Faber Castell, Caran d'Ache) like the ones I use for my drawings allow me to work on details and play with nuances. The textures and tones obtained reveal both softness and subtlety, vivacity and power.
I draw inspired by photos, models that allow me to obtain accuracy and finesse in the lines. In drawing, I offer you a new format, invigorating colors, texture, grain, sharpness, emotion, authenticity, poetry, even magic! Because elements can appear or disappear thanks to the drawing.
The prints of my cards are done in England, I particularly appreciate the thickness and the matte rendering of the postcards, and the fact of being able to print small prints, from 25 to 50 copies. The print run is limited to vary the models and ensure a certain authenticity.
