This is a beautiful Cartier ‘Panther’ silk scarf which dates from the 1990s. The scarf was bought in the USA by my mum with a gift voucher which needed using before it expired! My mum never wore it so the scarf remained in its original packaging and carrier bag for 30 years.
The scarf is square in shape, measuring 26” x 25.75” (66cm x 66cm) and has an animal print design in shades of beige and brown in the shape of a panther’s head in the centre, with a small bejewelled panther in one corner in a trail of blue pearls. There is a pale blue diamond border around the edge.
The scarf has its Cartier label intact, together with its original packaging and Cartier carrier bag. As the scarf is made of 100% silk it is dry clean only. It has been in its box for 30 years so would need a light press before wearing.
Condition: excellent, unworn.
