Cartier displays in this scarf the World famous sapphire panther brooch created for the Duchess of Windsor! And, we have shown in this listing an image from our archival books sharing this story.
100% Silk. Made in Italy. The large Cartier size (36" X 36") of medium weight silk with "la Belle Époque" brocade weave. Sunny lemon yellow on lemon chiffon background, black & white accents with charcoal grey trim on hem. Hand rolled and stitched hem. Scarf is large enough to wear as a head scarf or shoulder scarf.
Very fine vintage, pristine condition with Cartier tag and box. Marked "must de Cartier Paris". Circa 1980's. Genuine Cartier.
