Emma's suit is worked top down in stockinette stitch. A row of purl stitches adorns the neckline, and a button placket along the left raglan line ensures easy dressing. The neck opening is worked back and forth before the piece is joined in the round to complete the yoke, body, and sleeves. The legs are worked back and forth. Finally, stitches are picked up from the edge of the leg opening to knit on the button placket.
