DREAM BIG BABY BLANKET

The Dream Big baby blanket is worked in garter stitch. It begins with the bottom section in the contrasting color, before working the main color section. This section includes simple decreases to form the corner of the blanket. Finally, the hood and foot end are sewn together with a mattress stitch.

SIZES
One size

MEASUREMENTS
Length: approx. 89 cm / 25.5 ″ (including the hood)
Width: approx. 50 cm / 19.5 ″ (when folded)

GAUGE
9 sts x 14 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches in garter stitch after washing

SUGGESTED NEEDLES
9 mm (US size 13) or the required size to obtain gauge

YARN
300 grams main colour / 100 grams contrast colour of super bulky blow yarn. Please note: should you use a yarn other than the suggested blow yarn, the required yarn amounts may change in order to reach the length given in the pattern for the main and contrast colour.

Suggested yarn:
LaLa Berlin & Lanagrossa Lovely Cotton (75% Wool, 25% 
Cotton, 50 gramm = 90 m)

or DROPS Wish (50% Alpaca, 33% Cotton, 17% Wool,50 gramm = 
Approx. 70 m / 77 yards).

For this sample I used DROPS Wish, in the colours 04 Wheat (main colour) and 12 Curry (contrast colour).
